Maj. Gen. John Alexander Logan Camp# 4

Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

Raleigh, NC

Of necessity this page is different from many you have already visited.  You cannot search it nor can you get any information immediately.  There is a perfectly good reason, our organization has neither the money or manpower to provide a sophisticated webpage database.

What we do have are members who can provide the time and have the interest in preserving the memory of our Civil War dead.

Obtain a grave photo and information on your relative

To those of you who have a Civil War period relative interred in Raleigh National Cemetery: please e-mail us at   raleighnc@suvcwcamplogan.org   with your request.

Please include the following minimum information

             Last name of interred soldier

The state from which he served.

Within a day or so you will receive a return e-mail with as much pertinent

information as is currently available and a photograph of the head stone

of your ancestor such as the one to the right.

To those of you visiting this site who have relatives interred in the

Raleigh National Cemetery who served but not in the Civil War please

feel free to contact us and we will make every effort to secure a

photograph of that grave marker.

Although this is not a sophisticated system you will find it effective and

thank you for taking advantage of our service.

Please note !!  This is a work in progress.
